For the love of Shoes

Where i school...
Wear a shoe that looks just like this one. And the proceeding words would be something like, " o boy, see your 'brocks' "...
It ignited my curiosity , to know exactly specific names to specific shoes.
In my field of study, we are taught to dress like gentlemen , even against our will, and so the shoes to be discussed under this introduction would be top notch gentlemen shoes.

First off, THE OXFORD...
They are the most formal type of footwear.
For the fun of it, heres some brief history

Originating from Scotland and Ireland, the shoes gained popularity at Oxford University when rebel students wore these instead of knee-high and ankle-high boots.

An Oxford shoe is characterized by shoelace eyelets tabs that are attached under the vamp,a feature termed "closed lacing".This contrasts with Derbys, or Blüchers, which have shoelace eyelets attached to the top of the vamp.

Next up is the Bulcher

its vamp made of a single piece of leather with shoelace eyelets tabs sewn on top. It's very similar to the Derby but the little difference is in the Derby which has large quarters with eyelets sewn on top.
