The Friendzone isn't so bad

What does it mean exactly to be in the Friendzone?
Is it to have honest or pretentious desire for someone only to be considered good for friendship
Or does it mean
To be branded friend material without a possibility of been Anything more even without you desiring?
Well, whatever definition suits it best
Let me tell you about the first time I was "friendzoned".
I didn't see it coming, it was out of nowhere.
One minute I was flirting and the next, I heard the phrase that changed the course of my existence.
She said
"You're so funny bro"

Bro?
Bro!
Just like that I sunk into the hollows of the friendzone.
I was forced to spend nights over listening to her whine about boys she liked and fantasies about them, watched her fart and be absolutely crazy in front me and even at times, change into clothes with me to look but never to touch.
To avoid being the subject of mockery and jests of Society, we made a deal that when we are out I shall not be referred to as bro.
It didn't work out.
People knew
And made all sorts of Being in the Friendzone joke.
But as we grew into the friendship.
It hit me, what's so bad about being in the Friendzone?
 
Really what is?
*The sex you could be having but some dough-face is having without cost?
Yeah but it's Sex.
If she doesn't give in, someone else will or one could settle for a girlfriend and be a dough-face to someone else in your girlfriend friendzone.

*the rejection?
Well, rejection hurts as hell but it's life I guess.
We can't always win
We can't all be attractive to everyone
I've met people who didn't think Bradley Cooper was beyond appealing and I didn't kill them because different strokes for different folks
The earlier people accept rejection as been a norm the lesser the hurt.

Benefits of the Friendzone?
Free Food and Other Goodies This is my best part.
For women who don't appreciate company of their fellow species, they love deeply their Male bestfriends.
They would go out of their way to see them happy.
I'm talking about free food, gifts and more food in ways that boyfriends wouldn't enjoy.

There's Power
Remember the stone keeper at Vemor who told Thanos he had to sacrifice Gamora for the soul stone? He had tried to get the stone too and was cursed never to have but to be the keeper of the stone.
He was key to getting the stone.
If you don't understand a thing I just wrote, Shame on you for not watching one of the greatest super hero movies of all time.

Being in the Friendzone gives you the keys to the soul stone.
You can make and mar incoming toasters at your discretion.
It's petty but it's something.

True Friendship
For me, friendship play a big part of my life.
They could mean more than even siblings and the best kind of friendships is one beyond physical features, flaws and mistakes.
Being in the Friendzone is being considered a true friend
It's been prioritised
Completely respected
And noteworthy.
...and it matters to those who care for frienships.

Additionally,  the Friendzone grooms a man
It improves your chances of getting other women.
How? Spending alot of time with a girl you either do not want to sleep with or can't sleep with makes you understand women better and it brushes up your communication skills with them.
It's losing 1 to get many. It's like the capital to a successful business.
