You need a Goal
I was having a talk today with a girl about her Ex.
She was full of praise for her ex boyfriend, Godfrey. Pretty suspicious because most women rain curses on their ex's.
She talked about how Focus He is and how he's achieved so much in such a short time.
And Then I was hit with envy.
Before you roll your eyes, it's now what you think...
Here's what I mean.
I couldn't remember the last time I set out on a plan ; a long term plan and actually completed it.
I remember wanting to finish German, then French but it didn't take long before I was distracted by something else.

I remember trying to learn coding languages but Look at me now...
I envied Focus and I envy focused people; people who say I'm getting this and actually get that.
People who are hardly deterred. It's such a brilliant quality.
For the record, i dont believe in that que se ra se ra....or whatever you guys call it.
I believed in taking life a Step at a time and that opportunities will come as long as you do the right things.
But I think different now.
Ideas come to those people who make goals; be it short term or long terms.
The admonition is, as you wake up, don't rush for your phone or the internet. Take time to reflect on what you want your day to be like and evaluate if you're living up to the 'future you' you want to see happen.
If you care for prayer, Pray about it.
If you don't, get up and work out your day as planned.
And at the end of the day, re-evaluate.
Always, Always take time to look inwards.
