Life is beautiful?
"Life is beautiful"... you've heard that phrase countlessly haven't you? But is it really?
I doubt it. Life isn't beautiful, it's ugly. Ugly because it's painted with pain and It's all that surrounds us.
The things we consider beautiful, heart-warming and endearing are only things that mask the pain. The love from family, friends and lovers we seek is to tackle the pain of loneliness. The job we want not be poor in pain, the good looks we pay heavy for, the confidence we need, all to battle the insecurity.
It gets even worse, doing the right things is also painful. Our skin craves pleasure, to be wild and free and God says suffer the body. You can't imagine how much work that is.
Giving away the things we like can be painful as well, but we should , because it is the right thing to do. There's no escaping these things. It's the life we've been called to live. We aren't on earth to just live through it, we are here to work, to toil,to suffer ,for that is how we become better.
This is the best part, we are all in this together; we all share some measure of pain in varying amounts. The advice is, as much as We can, whenever the opportunity rears it's head, let's get to help one another; be it money, time, energy, a listening ear or some kind words we should render it to those who need it, for it is the only way to live through this pain together.
