The First Black Person

Quite recently on the news was Donald Glover,An Actor, rapper, director, singer....yeah,he's talented like that. He won two awards for best lead act and best directing something something...on the movie series, Atlanta. The news should have ended there but no, in a bid to spice things up or just be plainly annoying they had to add that he is the " first black person" to win that award.
the suit tho👌

I understand the joy of a milestone or an achievement and it gets even better when you're the first to attain such heights but I do not think that colour of skin is a parameter to judge achievement ,it shouldn't be especially not now, not 2017. I like to believe we are past using colour as a means of judgement at a time as advanced as this. Nationality, physical disadvantages and background would make a better fit for judgement.
Conclusively, The Los Angeles-based Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) established the Emmy Award and The first Emmy Awards ceremony took place on January 25, 1949, that's 68 years ago. That's probably times three your age and in all that time we are having a first black person now? It only goes to show a rub of 'gross underachievement' on our faces. Theres no better challenge than that. The world needs more of ideas and ingenuity ,so in whatever that you do try and be the best. You may not win an Emmy but it graces the black image.
