The Rape and Beg Story (R and B)

Let me tell you a story
A story trending on twitter about a girl who accused another guy of rape, but trust me, this isn't the classic rape story. It's far from it. It's one you probably haven't heard before.

How it did all begin?

Story story....Story!!!
So, someone made a 'tweet' about a slang amongst Nigerian youths, among the boys called R and B, and how it is sad that it has eaten deep into today's soceity.
Wait, Hope you didn't think i was talking about R and B genre of music?
This is called Rape and Beg. Boy rapes girl and begs afterwards. That's another talk for another day.
A certain girl decided to brace up and make a bold confession about her rape incident and goes the extra mile to mention the certain individual who "raped" her but not in a thousand years would she have predicted the outcome from people she would receive.

She begins explaining by describing her reasons for spending the night at the boy's house.

"Me and my bestfriend had talked about going to see him and spend the weekend at his place because school was boring and he had free WiFi..." she says.

But on the faithful day, she and the guy talked about her spending the night and they agreed on no sex . After eating with a few drinks, they retire to the bed.
They slept on the same bed but on opposite sides.

Now, this is where the action begins

She adds "But then he started getting all cuddly and i wasn't comfortable for a number of reasons, so i pushed him away a couple of times . Then he begged and said it would just be cuddling and so i let him"

Well, like they say, " na from clap e dey enter dance".
The boy proceeds to touching;touching very sensitive areas of her body. She had already changed into shorts and so it was easy for him.
She runs away from the bed to the bedroom and the boy begs her back to the bed and she agrees once more because the boy promised to stop.

"But again he started touching me, took off the shorts completely and started giving me oral, that's when I really started struggling and fighting him off, mostly because I had a boyfriend and I never wanted it to get to that point."

This part of the story is more confusing that Further Maths in NECO. It makes me think that she omitted the part where he cuffed her or threatened her with a knife or something.

"Didn't take long for him to slide in, there was already saliva all over my vagina, and from there crying and begging couldn't help me. He was looking at me the entire time, but it was like my face was invisible. He didn't stop until he came. Then when he was done he left me"

Well, cut long story short.
It ends with him begging, saying he really likes her and all. Gives her money for transport, postinor 2 and calls an uber cab for her.
She ends the story by telling everyone who the Rapist is.

Here's what i think. The law says it clearly that sex should be mutual all the way and if it isn't, its purely Rape. So she's right to say she was raped.
It is depressing that we live in a society that doesn't give a hoot about the entirety of the law.
Our society selects the law that fits our culture and religious beliefs.
Women know this very well, how society subtly supports rape. They do, and it calls for women to be wiser and smarter in handling affairs with strange men. This girl in question wasn't smart in any way.
She made the dumbest rape story ever in the history of mankind.
Why go sleep at another man's house for free Wi-Fi when you have a boyfriend?
Why give so much trust to someone you barely even know?
You let him give you oral and you thought it was going to end there?
I'm not settling for the mediocre standards of society, No! I'm saying living in Nigeria, infact Africa is hard and it calls for people to be smarter.
